The Bourgeois style has come back since the fall/winter 2019 fashion week, washing the market environment that is now almost monopolized by young people. But who knows that the “initiator” of this reform turned out to be Riccardo Tisci. He should be a group of designers who are the first to pay attention to the power of the street and youth in the fashion industry. He is good at “controlling” the hearts of young people. However, since he entered Burberry, it seems that the group he is concerned with is evolving.

“My first year at Burberry was to understand and improve the brand new language. After building that foundation, I thought I was ready to explore the essence of this incredible brand. This series pays tribute to the brand tradition and looks to the future. This is Burberry’s evolutionary manifesto”. Riccardo Tisci, Burberry’s chief creative director said.
On September 16, 2019, London time, the Burberry 2020 Spring/Summer collection was released in the West End of London. The series is called the “Declaration of Evolution”, which is a tribute to the brand’s new vocabulary and influenced by the Victorian style of the brand.
The fashion show is presented in a huge theater. A large mirrored cube barrier was placed in the middle of the converted theater. As the fashion show unveiled, the mysterious barrier slowly rose, revealing the British Victorian sound system installation, revealing the twilight floor and ceiling. The show space is decorated in white, grey, silver and neutral earth tones to showcase the new collection.

Celebrities guests from the fashion, film, sports and music communities gathered to participate in the big show, including brand spokesperson Zhou Dongyu, Dua Lipa, FKA Twigs, Lily James, Taron Egerton, Naomi Scott, Jordan Spence, Naomi Campbell, Octavian, Ruben Loftus- Cheek Rosalía, Carla Bruni, Anwar Hadid, etc.

The grey just like the wet air of the UK, the gray-toned jacket looks like a cement wall that has just been wet. The white afterward is like a thin layer of snow in the early winter morning, Snow in Spring? Why not. The English countryside is also a source of inspiration for Tisci, who combines tassels with handmade natural prints to look vibrant.

But Tisci did not forget his followers, this series still carries his iconic street style. His boys and girls have grown up, and now they just want to wear a little more comfortable. It’s better to leave it to others whether it’s cool or not.
